"You make a living by what you get. You make a life by what you give." - Sir Winston Churchill

Jessika lives here in Fallbrook and is a horse owner herself. She owns an OTTB (off the track Thoroughbred) bay mare, an Arabian gelding and a Mustang. She is a real "work horse" , not only putting in 8 - 10 hours a week working with the Kids Horsin' Around herd, she is also a student worker at a barn in Del Mar where she's training Hunter/Jumpers 3 days a week. On top of all that, she's a Senior at Oasis High School in Fallbrook! You can find her on Facebook supporting such causes as "PMU Mares and Foals" and "Petition to Save the Oragne County Fair Equestrian Center" as well as in the group "REINS". She has an incredible understanding of horses and all the horses here just love her! She lunges, frees jumps, helps out at birthday parties, and washes all the dirty horses she has time for. She is always willing to do more and will work after the sun goes down. Where would we be without Jessika?

Samantha - Sam is a 6th grader at Guajome Park Academy Charter School in Vista where her favorite subjects are reading, language arts and advanced math! Her hope is to someday be a marine biologist or novelist. (Why not be both, Sam?!) In her free time, she loves to play with her two dogs, a German Shepard mix and an English springer spaniel - her love of animals is readily evident! Sam has also dabbled in fencing and played softball for three years. Born in Washington, she has come to love the wonderful southern California climate, though her dream vacation would still be in Cannon Beach, Oregon, with all the family there! Sam helps out at Kids Horsin' Around in so many ways! She keeps the minis, Emmy & Sugar, in tip-top shape with weekly groomings & baths; tidies the grooming boxes and scrubs algae off the watering troughs! She's always ready to help. Thanks, Sam!

Holly is a homemaker from San Marcos whose love affaire with horses goes back many years. She raised her own Appaloosa "babies", and although she gave up horses when the demands of raising a family took precedence, she never lost her passion for horses. Her "return" to horses has been a blessing to Kids Horsin' Around; the patience and understanding that she brings to the arena goes a long way to training and maintaining some of the best schooling horses and ponies around. Her years of experience training-up young horses combined with a compassion for all animals is evident in all she does around the barn, and she is always willing to take on any task with unbridled enthusiasm! Thank-you so much Holly for choosing to share your love and talents at Kids Horsin' Around.
