Children will learn how to lead, groom & saddle a pony; basic riding skills will be covered with two riding session (one in the morning, one in the afternoon). Crafts, games & snacks included. For 7 - 10 yr. olds. (4 - 6 children) $60/child, 9 - 3pm.
Children should come dressed in long pants, closed-toed shoes/boots with a heel; we'll provide the helmets.
Send a sack lunch; we'll provide snacks.

Crafts include designing an iron-on transfer using photos taken at camp for a really cool t-shirt; or decorating a wooden picture frame with feathers, gems and glitter glue (photo of rider and horse included!); or using hair from one of our horses, macramé an awesome bracelet with beads and bells.

| Spring Break 2010 We will be offering a two, three or five day camp this coming Spring Break. Everything in our Junior Day Camps will be offered and more. Daily crafts, riding, snacks and games. Register now, space is limited and will fill-up fast! Before and after care available at an additional fee.

| A Few of Our Favorite Things... |
I always ask the children what their favorite activity of the day was and every time, picking out hooves is right up there in the top three!
Other long-shot favorites are mucking and feeding.
Riding is up there, too...it's just that it's not always first on the list! Which is a good thing, because if you are considering a horse, riding is one of the last things you get to do. (It comes after feeding, mucking, grooming, paying the vet bill...)
