Children will learn how to lead, groom & saddle a pony; basic riding skills will be covered with two riding session (one in the morning, one in the afternoon). Crafts, games & snacks included. For 7 - 12 yr. olds. (4 - 6 children) $60/child, 9 - 3pm.
Children should come dressed in long pants, closed-toed shoes/boots with a heel; we'll provide the helmets.
Send a sack lunch; we'll provide snacks.

Pony & Pals Mini Day Camps
For the little animal lover in our family! Have fun interacting with the friendly animals in our barnyard encounters™ then go for a pony ride. Get creative with a fun animal themed craft project to complete and take home with you. For a glimpse into the fun you'll have, check out our barnyard encounters™. Parents are encouraged to stay and enjoy the fun and educational program with their child. Great activity for grandparents with grandchildren, too! No age minimum, but children 5 years and under must be accompanied by an adult. (only $20/child)

I always ask the children what their favorite activity of the day was and every time, picking out hooves is right up there in the top three!
Riding is up there, too...it's just that it's not always first on the list! Which is a good thing, because if you are considering a horse, riding is one of the last things you get to do. (It comes after feeding, mucking, grooming, paying the vet bill...)
